Malacia was all set to sign for French side Olympique Lyon before Manchester United hijacked the deal on Tuesday.
The deal is worth around £13m plus £1.5m in add ons and will sign his contract on a 4-year promise with the acustomary option to extend a year further.
Tyrell is 22 years of age and will be the 4th left back at the club alongside Luke Shaw, Alex Telles and Brandon Williams although the latter two’s futures are still up in the air.
The left-back has won a Dutch Cup and Dutch Supercup with Feyenoord.
He is deemed as a more attacking option to Luke Shaw and was the first choice signing at left-back for Ten Hag.
This might be the first signing for Man United this summer but talks are still ongoing with several names to add to the squad.
Frenkie De Jong, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez are all strong targets for the Red Devils.
