Man United Bid £39m For Inter Milan’s Andre Onana; Later Rejected

Manchester United have bid £34m plus £5m add-ons for Inter’s Andre Onana according to multiple sources.

However, as per Fabrizio Romano, the bid has been rejected but negotiations between the two clubs continue.

Inter Milan reportedly want around £52m for the Champions League runner up but Man United are trying to reduce the asking price to fit with their summer budget.

Man United also have to abide by FFP restrictions hence why Man United are offering a package deal.

Erik ten Hag is keen on signing the keeper after managing him at Ajax.

All parties are confident that a deal can be agreed and the player can join United.

Manchester United are looking for a new goalkeeper after David De Gea left the club last Saturday following his contract expiry. 

Further progressions in this deal could push forward Dean Henderson reported transfer to Nottingham Forest.
