Man United Lose Out On Another Target
Man United target Thiago is on his way to Liverpool after Bayern agreed an intial £25m fee with ‘The Reds’ for the Champions League winner.
Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has confirmed the Thiago deal has been agreed between the two clubs.
His contract will last until June 2024 and the fee is likely to rise to around £30m including add ons.
Liverpool waited to pay the £30m asking fee from the Champions League winners while United were only reported to have contacted the players agent. No official bid from ‘The Red Devils’ was tabled.
