Man United Launch 2021/22 Home KitGriffochaz
Man United have lauched their new home kit for the upcoming 2021/22 season.
It’s the first season with new club sponsor TeamViewer across the front, replacing American automobile company Chevrolet who have been the club’s official kit sponsor since 2014.
TeamViewer is a remote access and control computer software company that aims to connect devices around the globe.
The firm will sponsor Man United for the next five years.
The kit itself, made with Adidas, draws inspiration from club philosophy and heritage with design to combine a city, a lifestyle and generations.
The iconic Red Devil logo in the centre of the badge is repeated on the back of the shirt and three tonal stripes are engrained into the front of the fabric.
The words “youth, courage and success” are printed on the back neck tape of the shirt which lends itself to the DNA of the club.
Inigo Turner, Design Director at Adidas, says it’s “important” that club’s success is built upon those three principles.
“At adidas we know that from the days of Sir Matt Busby and Sir Alex Ferguson to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer now, it’s always been important that the club’s success is built upon its philosophy of youth, courage and success.”
Adidas have also fitted their latest innovation into the Red Devils shirt called HEAT.RDY – KEEP COOL which is designed to keep players cool, dry and confident during play.
The kit’s fabric is a plethora of high performance recycled materials called PRIMEGREEN which falls in line with the club’s pledge to help the environment wherever they can.
The kit will be seen in action for the first time this Sunday when the club plays Derby in a pre season friendly.
