Manchester United Draw Aston Villa In FA Cup Third Round
Manchester United have been drawn at home against Aston Villa in the third round of the FA Cup.
The draw took place before the Boreham Wood vs. St Albans game in the second round.
Aston Villa, who have won the FA Cup 7 times, are currently managed by Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard who has won the competition twice including in 2006 when he netted a late minute belter.
The last meeting between the two sides saw Aston Villa pick up a 1-0 win at Old Trafford thanks to a late header from Kourtney Hause.
The game was the last win under Dean Smith who was later sacked after going on a 5-match losing run.
This is the first meeting between the two clubs in the FA Cup since the third round in 2008.
Axel Tuanzebe, who is on loan at the Midlands club, will be unavailable to play against his parent club.
This game could see former Man United captain Ashley Young return to Old Trafford.
