Man United Set To Sign Young Fullback Harry Amass

Manchester United are set to make their first signing of the summer in the form of  young Watford fullback Harry Amass.

The deal is reportedly for a four-year contract and will be completed this week.

The club will have to pay Watford compensation after 16-year-old Amass had previously signed an early scholarship deal which originally tied him to ‘The Hornets’ until he was 18.

Amass plays left-back and has represented Watford at U18 and U21 levels.

He was also an unused sub when Watford lost to Reading in the FA Cup in January, a team United later beat in the competition.

The high-potential defender was already offered a two-year contract by Watford which he could of signed when he turns 17 next year.
