Cristiano Ronaldo To Miss First Part Of Pre-Season Tour

Cristiano Ronaldo will miss the first part of Manchester United’s pre-season tour due to family issues.

Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news earlier today;

Cristiano Ronaldo will not be part of Manchester United squad for the start of pre-season tour. He’s not gonna travel to Bangkok tomorrow. 🚨🇵🇹 #MUFC

The family issues are not yet known however this has come a few months following on from his baby son’s death.

Cristiano revealed his desires to leave the club earlier this week and reports suggest that Man United will now listen to offers.

Club World Champions Chelsea are one of the favourites to land his signature.

The length of absence is yet unknown and he may join up with the club’s tour in Australia next week.

Man United will play rivals Liverpool in Thailand on Tuesday before travelling down under for the rest of the tour.
