Sir Jim Ratcliffe Set To Bid For Manchester United

As per James Ducker of the Telegraph, Sir Jim Ratcliffe will bid for Manchester United once The Glazer Family officially puts the club on the market.

Ratcliffe outlined his intentions to buy Man United a few months ago but his interest was reported to have died.

Now his renewed interest is said to be serious.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe is the current CEO of Ineos, a company he co-founded.

Manchester United released an official statement outlining their plans of a process to examine strategic investment options.

While nothing has been confirmed, it is thought that this will come in the form of a full sale of the club.

Despite this news, Kaveh Solhekol of Sky Sports believes the club will be bought by US investors.

He also reported that Manchester United is valued at around £5 billion.

Man United will join Liverpool on the market after FSG put the 5-time Champions League winners up for sale earlier this month.
