Andreas spent last season at Italian club Lazio and seasons before in Spain with Granada in 2016/17 and Valencia in 2017/18.
Nicknamed “The Pre-Season Pirlo”, Pereira netted a brilliant long distance volley against Brentford last month.
He is no stranger to a good goal as he also won the club’s Goal of the Season award in 2018/19 for his strike against Southampton.
The Brazilian is looking to secure Flamengo’s second Copa Libertadores in three years this season, all after the club won their Serie A in both 2019 and 2020.

I have always liked Pereira, I even rated him at one point. He has the ability on the ball, that’s without doubt but I feel his mental ability to read beyond his own game lets him down. I feel his time to shine burnt out a long ago. It would of been nice to see him loaned to another premier league side a few years ago. but now, Id prefer to see him sold. I just cant see him as a Manchester United player any longer. 🙁
