Dean Henderson To Sign With Nottingham Forest?

As per Simon Jones of MailSport, Nottingham Forest have a “deal in place” to sign Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson.

The English keeper spent last season on loan at Forest before picking up an injury.

It is thought that the deal would be permanent and would see Henderson replace loanee goalkeeper Keylor Navas, who returned to parent club PSG at the end of the season.

Henderson has kept 6 clean sheets in 20 games for Forest before sustaining a thigh injury that resulted in him missing the second half of the season.

To the surprise of some, Nottingam Forest will be playing Premier League football next season after surviving relegation with manager Steve Cooper.

This Henderson news comes as reports suggest David De Gea is set to sign a new contract with Manchester United.

However, it is thought that David’s hold on the number 1 shirt is loose following his performances this season.

David won the Premier League Golden Glove with 17 clean sheets.

Diogo Costa of FC Porto and David Raya of Brentford are two keepers that have been linked with a move to Old Trafford.
