Man United Trigger Paul Pogba Contract Extension
Man United have triggered a one-year extension clause in Paul Pogba’s contract, resulting in the Frenchman staying at the club until June 2022.
This has come after the World Cup winner pubicly said it would be “a dream” to play for Real Madrid while on international duty with France.
Pogba’s contract at Old Trafford was due to expire next summer, but as expected, United have exercised their option to extend his deal for an added year.
The one-year contract extension is a clause that features in most Man United contracts and is only triggered at the club’s discretion.
Man United and Paul Pogba’s focus will turn to Newcastle tomorrow evening in a must win encounter.
