Edinson Cavani Likely to Stay at United

1

Edinson Cavani looks to be staying at Man United for another year after all.

This is coming from moisESPN on Twitter that reports the Uruguayan has committed to ‘The Red Devils’ for another year.

Fabrizio Romano also confirmed after last nights 6-2 drubbing of Roma, in which Cavani netted twice and provided two assists in a man of the match performance, that Man United will do “everything they can” to keep the striker in Manchester for another year.

Man United signed Edinson on a free deal on deadline day of the summer transfer window where he was contracted for a year with an option to extend further.

Reports began to circulate about Cavani feeling homesick and wanting to return home to his family with most accepting a move to Boca Juniors was inevitable.

However, we are now expecting these rumours of him staying to be confirmed as true next week when the official announement is made.

Do not expect an official club statement within the next few days as the club are boycotting social media in protest to online abuse and discrimination.
