Manchester United have held talks with Andre Onana’s agent Albert Botines about the player signing for the club.

Erik ten Hag has previously managed Onana while at Ajax and favours him for his desired playing style.

Despite Erik ten Hag’s wishes for a new goalkeeper, the situation surrounding the club’s two current shot-stoppers remains unclear.

David De Gea has been offered a new contract at the club however has been told his position in the starting XI isn’t guaranteed.

The Spanish international has interest from Saudi Arabia and reportedly could be lined up for a significant contract if he chooses.

Meanwhile, Dean Henderson is heavily linked with a move to Nottingham Forest after his successful loan at the Premier League club last season.

However, Man United are delaying this transfer while the goalkeeper situation at the club becomes clearer.
