Man United Fixture List Revealed

Amid Euros drama, the Premier League has today released the fixtures list for the upcoming 2021/22 season.

Man United will have a hot start to their campaign as they face rival Leeds United at Old Trafford on the opening day on 14th August.

The Red Devils won this fixture 6-2 last season in which Scott Mctominay scored the quickest brace in Premier League history.

In United’s first away game of the season, Ole will take his boys down to the south coast to face Southampton at the St Marys Stadium.

The Saints felt the first wrath of Edinson Cavani in this fixture last season when the Uruguayan was subbed on to kickstart the 3-2 comeback win while Southampton also fell victim to a 9-0 drubbing at the hands of United last campaign.

The Boxing Day fixture is always something to keep an eye on and it’s a battle of the United’s as Man United take on Newcastle in Tyneside.

Ole managed two 4-1 victories over Newcastle, one last season and the other on Boxing Day in 2019.

The final day can often be pivotal in the season whether you are fighting for Top 4 or even the title.

Man United end the campaign away at Crystal Palace, a team that has caused a few problems for The Red Devils over recent times.

***Fixtures Subject to Change Dates and Times***

Man United will have it difficult as they play each of the “Big Six” in a row excluding the Watford fixture in October and November.

March is also a month from hell as the club faces Man City, Liverpool and Spurs which you would expect would all be fighting for something significant at that point.

The Red Devils are also two away matches from history and if they avoid defeat against Southampton and Wolves then United will have the longest unbeaten run away from home in Premier League history.
