Anthony Elanga Signs New 4 Year Contract With The Club

Man United academy graduate Anthony Elanga has signed a new contract keeping him at the club until 2026, with an option for a year extension.

The Swedish international made his first team debut against Leicester in May 2021 after joining the club’s academy aged 12.

Elanga has since scored against Wolves and was subbed on in Ralf Rangnick’s first game in charge on Man United.

The 19-year-old spoke to the official club website after putting pen to paper.

“My ultimate ambition has always been to play for Manchester United. The standard is extremely high, but this contract is another important moment in my journey.

“This is the perfect environment to take the next step, with world-class players and coaches to learn from every day, I am overjoyed that the club has shown such faith in my development, and I want to thank my family and all of the staff for their ongoing support.

“I know that with hard work and dedication comes opportunity at this special club and I cannot wait to continue my progress here.

“Glory to God always.”

Football Director John Murtough says the club are “thrilled” that Anthony has signed the new deal.

We look forward to see how Elanga develops at Manchester United.
