Tahith Chong Joins Birmingham City On Season-Long Loan

Tahith Chong will join Championship side Birmingham City on a seas0n-long loan.

The 21-year-old Dutch winger was signed by Blues boss Lee Bowyer and will play his football at St Andrews next season.

Last season, Chong had two loan spells at Club Brugge and Werder Bremen and recorded a total 2 goals and 7 assists.

The Dutch youngster has struggled to get going in a Man United shirt and was even tested at left back in the early stages of Ole’s managerial career at Old Trafford.

The club still seems to have faith in Chong which is why he is loaned out rather than sold but with him now entering the latter stages of his youngster years, you feel this is a make or break loan spell for the Dutchman.

Birmingham City finished last campaign in 18th place after a surge of positive results in April saw the side survive the looming threat of relegation.
