Ralf Rangnick’s Work Permit Granted; Will Manage Team On Sunday
New Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick has had his work permit granted so can his work as the club’s boss.
This news means he will manage the team for the first time on Sunday as Man United host Crystal Palace.
Rangnick is expected to be in the stands for tonight’s match against Arsenal, the last game under the management of Michael Carrick.
The work permit was delayed as Ralf has not managed a football team in a while after being in roles like the Head of Sports Development at Lokomotiv Moscow.
Rangnick will speak to the media for the first time under the Man United banner on Friday’s pre-match press conference.
The German, who has inspired managers like Jurgen Klopp and Julian Nagelsmann, has signed a 6-month contract as Man United interim manager where he will then take up a consultancy role at the club, making him pivitol in picking a new coach in the summer.
Mauricio Pochettino and Erik Ten Hag are names linked with the Man United job.
Despite, Rangnick only being in the job a matter of days, rumours have already circulated about his transfer strategies at United.
Amadou Haidara, Christopher Nkunku, Nordi Mukiele, Erling Haaland and Timo Werner have all been linked to Old Trafford, all players with past connections to Ralf Rangnick.
