Ralf Rangnick Appointed Interim Manager
The reports have now been confirmed as Ralf Rangnick has been appointed as Interim manager of Manchester United.
Ralf signs on a six month deal, with a two year consultancy role after the season ends. His time with Lokomotiv Moscow comes to an end.
The news was confirmed by the club today.

Rangnick spoke on his role: “The squad is full of talent and has a great balance of youth and experience. All my efforts for the next six months will be on helping these players fulfil their potential, both individually and, most importantly, as a team.
“Beyond that, I look forward to supporting the club’s longer-term goals on a consultancy basis.”
The German has vast experience at the likes of RB Leipzig and Hoffenheim and should provide valuable experience to the end of the season.
Michael Carrick will remain in charge until visa issues are finalised.
