Former Aston Villa and now Roma player Jordan Veretout has been called up to replace Paul.
Pogba is currently serving a three-match suspension following his red card in Man United’s 5-0 defeat to Liverpool last month.
He was unavailable for selection against Watford but was due to return for cruical games against Villarreal and Chelsea in late November.
Despite no official word on the length of the injury, it is expected that the Frenchman will miss up to 8 weeks of football.
Rumours have been circulating about Pogba’s status with the club with reports suggesting he isn’t willing to sign a new contract.
