Mason Greenwood Won’t Return To Training “Until Further Notice”

Manchester United have confirmed that Mason Greenwood won’t return to training or play any matches “until further notice”.

This comes following allegations of violence towards Mason in which video and audio was released on Instagram on Sunday.

The alleged victim of the abuse posted videos and audioclips that appear to record Greenwood in an act of violence towards her but this content has since been deleted.

A man in his 20s has since been arrested on suspicion of rape and assault as Greater Manchester Police continue the investigation.

In a statement earlier today, Manchester United addressed the situation.

“We are aware of images and allegations circulating on social media.

“We will not make any further comment until the facts have been established.

“Manchester United does not condone violence of any kind”.

As previously mentioned, the club has since announced Greenwood will not be at training or named in matchday squads until further updates.
