Man United Sign Set Piece Coach Eric Ramsey

Man United have signed former Chelsea coach Eric Ramsey and has been added to the first team coaching setup.

Eric will work with players on a one to one basis but more importantly take ownership over set plays.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says the club is “fortunate” to welcome Eric to the club

“We’ve been fortunate enough to convince Eric Ramsey to come and join the best club in the world and in the country.

“He’s a very highly rated coach who is going to be working with individuals and in charge of set plays as well.”

United have struggled for the past few seasons with both defending and scoring from set pieces.

The Red Devils conceded 14 goals from set pieces last season which accounted for nearly 1/3 of goals conceded in the league.

Scoring goals from set plays is also an issue for United.

With height like Harry Maguire and Edinson Cavani in the squad, corners and free kicks should be an area of strength for the club and this is hopefully what Eric Ramsey will bring to the squad.
