Lisandro Martinez: Imminent!

Lisandro Martinez is set to officially become the second summer signing for Manchester United, as the deal with Ajax enters its final stages.

Martinez, 24, will join Manchester United for a reported fee of €55million as the Dutch club’s resolve to keep hold of the Argentine has faltered.

The versatile defender turned down the opportunity to join Arsenal as the prospect of reuniting with Erik Ten Hag proved to be the catalyst in the decision making for him.

Lisandro Martinez will join Tyrell Malacia as Manchester United’s only confirmed signing so far. Christian Eriksen is expected to sign whereas the Frenkie De Jong saga drags on.
