Glazer Family To Sell £137m Worth Of Manchester United Stocks
The Glazer Family are set to sell more shares in Manchester United.
As reported by BBC Sport, The Glazers have put up another 9.5 million shares for sale with a value of around £137.12m)
The club notified the New York Stocks Exchange of this news on Tuesday evening in the names of directors Kevin and Edward Glazers.
Man United as a club will not receive any proceeds from the potential sale of these stocks.
Back in March of 2021, Avram Glazer sold £70m worth of shares in the club, a month before signing up for the European Super League.
Attention has been firmly on the Glazers since then with a Premier League game against Liverpool in April being postponed due to protests against the owners of Manchester United.
The sale is projected to be at a lower value to what they are worth due to the sheer quantity being sold
This news comes after Joel Glazer announced a more fan-centric running of the club in the past two fan forums.
Glazer said that the plans are “rather complex” to implement but admitted they are “jumping those hurdles”
