All Premier League and EFL Football Postponed Following Queen Elizabeth II Death
Within the last hour, footballing governing bodies have decided to postpone all scheduled matches for this weekend as a mark of respect for Queen Elizabeth II who died on Thursday.
All clubs in the top flight met in a meeting this morning and concluded with this decision.
As a mark of respect to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, this weekend’s Premier League match round will be postponed.

Manchester United were set to travel to Crystal Palace on Sunday after their 1-0 loss to Real Sociedad on Thursday.
Both United and Sociedad wore black armbands and participated in a minute silence before the game.
The EFL and SPFL have also announced the postponement of all weekend’s fixtures.
Lower leagues and grassroots have also followed the decision.
It is likely that league fixtures will continue to be postponed during the period of mourning.
